Truckee
Central
The town of Truckee is a dynamic recreational area that is
nestled in the picturesque Sierra Nevada Mountains at an elevation
of 6,000 feet. This forested region is filled with lakes,
streams, meadows, trails, parks, campgrounds, and all-season
resorts in a spectacular alpine setting. The Truckee community
is the business hub of the High Sierra, as well as the transportation
center for the region. Many seasonal events attract vacationers
and second home residents to the area, and Truckee’s
historic downtown is a charming spot for shops, restaurants,
music spots, and a visitor’s center. Most of the downtown
real estate is commercial, with intermittent homesites. The
Gateway Center in Truckee is close to schools, shopping, restaurants,

Glenshire
Glenshire is a popular family neighborhood and is located
about six miles east of downtown Truckee. With a 25 minute
commute to Reno, Glenshire is very popular for full-time residents.
Perfect for families, the Glenshire community recently opened
a new neighborhood Elementary School and has plans for a new
Middle School. The residence mix is approximately 80% full-time
residents and 20% second homeowners. The Glenshire Homeowner's
Association amenities include a swimming pool, clubhouse,
equestrian easements, tennis courts and convenience store.

Sierra Meadows/Ponderosa Palisades
The Ponderosa and Sierra Meadows areas are comprised of many
prestigious neighborhoods that are conveniently located close
to the Truckee airport, Northstar and downtown Truckee. Most
sites are nicely wooded with some views, and offer a quiet
neighborhood for families and those wanting to retreat into
natural surroundings. For the equestrian, Ponderosa Ranchos
is zoned for horses and is located close to miles of riding

Prosser
Heights
The Prosser area is located off of Highway 89 North and offers
a quiet retreat with lots of trees and plentiful snowfall.
Within walking distance from Prosser Lake, this beautifully
wooded area offers easy access to fishing and camping. The
Prosser Lake area also hosts miles of mountain biking and
equestrian trails with properties on Prosser Dam Road zoned

Tahoe
Donner®
Tahoe Donner®, a planned recreational community originally
developed by Dart Resorts in the early 70s, may be the perfect
recreational retreat or primary residential area for families.
This mountain subdivision is located on over 4,000 acres of
forested land, divided into 11 residential units. Of the approximate
6,100 home sites, nearly 4,600 homes have been completed.
With nearly 60 miles of roadways and an elevation differential
of 6,200 ft. to over 7,000 ft., there is a wonderful diversity

The Tahoe Donner®
mountain subdivision is entirely owned by the property owners

There are nearly 1,600 acres of greenbelt, common, park or
recreation area inside the development. There is an added
2,000 acres adjoining the western boundary of the subdivision,
which is currently being used as open space and is adjoining
to the Tahoe National Forest. These open spaces and greenbelt

Donner

Minutes from nearby Truckee, the Donner Lake community offers

for the whole family. Residents include both primary and second
homeowners and most are able to live within walking distance
of the lake. This legendary area is bordered by the Donner
Memorial State Park on the east and Donner Summit on the west
and draws both history buffs and nature seekers. The area
