Mark joined Keller Williams Boice Realty in Truckee after a career as a successful realtor in Marin County, California. Prior to working in real estate, he was President of an executive search firm for 16 years. As a recruiter, Mark married the needs of organizations and the dreams of individuals in successful job placements.
As his Swiss American heritage may predict, Mark loves the mountains. His family has enjoyed winters and summers in the Sierras since the early ’70s and migrated part time to their Truckee home in 1997. They are thrilled to be finally realizing their dream and living in Truckee as full time residents. As students of the Emigrant Trail, Mark and his wife, Karen, enjoy hiking and exploring the mountains in pursuit of the pioneers’ original roads. In addition to raising two grown boys, Mark enjoys skiing, hiking, golf, and other outdoor activities the mountains have to offer.
Mark is an active dog handler with his chocolate lab, Schoggi, and is passionate about being a member of The California Rescue Dog Association (CARDA), a statewide volunteer organization that aids local county agencies deployed when people are lost or missing.
